Nordic Quality Team Lead

Air Liquide is now in collaboration with PharmaRelations recruiting a Nordic Quality Team Lead. This is a newly created, permanent, full-time position based in Malmö.

The Nordic Quality Team Lead will lead a team currently consisting of 5 persons working with mainly quality but also regulatory and pharmacovigilance in Sweden/Denmark/Norway. This includes, but is not limited to hiring, training, performance management and professional development of the staff. Your responsibility will be to ensure compliance with current European standards such as GMP, GDP, GVP, MDD and regulatory requirements in the Nordic countries. You will monitor quality status and effectiveness and identify, initiate and implement improvements continuously. Further you will act as Qualified Person (QP) for Air Liquide in Sweden, named by the Swedish Competent Authority.

Other duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Quality Assurance - control and approval of batch documentation, participate in relevant inspections, lead or participate in internal audits and supplier audits, author for Product Quality Reviews, quality system management including claims, deviations, change control and procedures
  • Regulatory Affairs - variations to module 3
  • Pharmacovigilance - serve as Deputy Local Pharmacovigilance officer in Sweden

The Nordic Quality Team Lead will report to the Nordic Healthcare Director.

What you will need to succeed

To be qualified for this position, you need a degree in Life Science, ideally pharmacist or equivalent. We are looking for an individual with management experience and a broad understanding and practical experience of quality systems and standards in the pharmaceutical/medtech industry. Equally important, you need to be fully qualified and experienced as QP in Sweden including solid experience as internal auditor and supplier auditor. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken and you have a driving license. This position requires travelling (currently estimated to 20-30 days a year and mainly in Sweden, Denmark and Norway).

Experience in change management, validation, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, gas manufacturing and/or MDD is beneficial.

You work in a structured way and take responsibility. You will work across many different functions, including industrial functions, hence ability to collaborate and seek solutions is essential.
