LINK Medical Research is looking for a highly motivated Senior Statistician to join our Biometrics group. LINK Medical is growing and the portfolio of cross-functional projects is increasing. As a Senior Statistician, you will work in close collaboration with several project teams. You will also have the responsibility for assignments within the Biometrics group. 

Main tasks

  • Responsible study statistician in pre-clinical or clinical trials of medicines and medical devices for human or veterinary use. This includes activities related to study design, including sample size estimation and randomization, specification and conduct of statistical analysis, CDISC programming of outputs for reporting, and the interpretation of results.
  • Provide input to pre-clinical and clinical projects regarding statistical methodology and regulatory strategy.
  • Generate randomization lists (using SAS).
  • Creation of statistical documentation (Statistical analysis plan, Interim analysis plan, Statistical report, etc.).
  • Give input to CRF design, creation of electronic and manual checks, and use of CDISC standards for data reporting. Contribute to data validation and quality control.
  • SAS programming of Analysis Datasets and Tables, Figures and Listings based on CDISC data standards (SDTM and ADaM).
  • Statistical analysis according to specifications/plans and interpretation of results and formulation of conclusions.
  • Participate in sponsor meetings and represent LINK Medical with statistical expertise.
  • Present and discuss results in project or functional teams as well as with customer, and collaborate closely with clinical/medical writers on the production of reports.
  • Complete projects and services according to agreement with project manager, line manager and customer.
  • Report implementation and progress of projects and other services according to agreement with project manager, line manager and customer.
  • Participate in relevant courses, conferences, symposia and meetings as agreed with line manager/customer, and keep up to date in relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the LINK Medical RWE department on registry studies and statistical input to health economic models.
  • Contribute actively internally and externally to expand the knowledge and experience of the Biometrics group.
  • Contribute to revision of relevant SOPs and Working Instructions.

Your profile:

  • At least Master degree in statistics or similar education.
  • Preferably, at least 5 years of CRO or industry experience in the Life Science area.
  • Experience from working according to ICH-GCP and relevant industry guidelines and standards.
  • Proficient in SAS. Broad experience creating and running SAS programs, using CDISC, for analysis and presentation of clinical trial data.
  • Experience with studies based on real world evidence. Knowledge of meta-analyses, network meta-analyses and Health Technology Assessments is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent skills in statistical methodology including specific knowledge of experimental design, analysis of variance and linear models, multivariate analysis, and nonparametric techniques.
  • Experience from working in project-oriented organizations.
  • Good knowledge of several therapy areas.
  • Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English, both written and oral.
  • You are service oriented and a strong communicator who can collaborate well within a matrix organization.
  • You are able to work independently when required. You are analytical and have attention to details. You are proactive, flexible and keen to find solutions.
