Who are we?

AFRY´s business area Food & Pharma have approximately 450 team members who are involved in projects and assignments within the Food and Life Science Industry. We continue to expand internationally and we have offices at several locations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Estonia. Our business model is to maintain and develop our consulting service which is delivered on a project basis as well as turnkey solutions. Our projects involve the entire process from the blueprinting phase through design, execution and validation. Our business segment is characterized by extensive industry experience and competence within project management, process design, automation and quality assurance. Food & Pharma is a part of Industrial Digital Solutions, one of 5 divisions within AFRY and is a leading player within our industry.

About the role

• As our Life Science Project Director, you will build up our new PDO center of excellence while you simultaneously drive several different projects.
• You will act as the lead, coordinating all activities and communication within the site/project areas, other offices and locations. The team members typically consist of managers and supervisors heading up the various functions (e.g., Safety Manager, Quality Manager and Construction Manager)
• In this role, coordination and implementation will be required and you will support a productive project execution including functional staff support, support craft activities and any other resources necessary to assure a safe and efficient project execution
• Responsible for assuring that all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance with all pertinent requirements
• Responsibility typically includes acting as the leading point of accountability to senior management, our clients, and the community 

Who are You?

You have a proven track record of successful leadership of teams in areas such as project controls, engineering, construction, procurement and finance. You have extensive life science experience at $25 – 100 million TIC.  You are able to deliver according to profit expectations while managing change. You are able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and trade partners. We believe you have an engineering or construction undergraduate degree and approximately 15 years of progressively influential experience. International experience is essential.
