Acquisition of consulting company Key2Compliance

The Swedish company Key2Compliance, offering services in fields such as pharma and Medtech, has been acquired by German GBA Group.

Key2Compliance offers regulatory consulting services for the life science sector, including medical devices, in vitro diagnostics and pharmaceuticals. Today, Tuesday, the company announced that it has been acquired by GBA Group, headquartered in Hamburg.

“With GBA Group, its structure and management we found the right partner to foster our ongoing journey of growth and internationalization,” Jan Hellqvist, CEO of Key2Compliance, says in a press release.

BA Group is a global company offering services in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, chemicals, food, drinking water and environment. The company employs more than 2,500 people in 11 countries.

“As we have set ourselves the goal of being a broad-based service provider for medical devices, Key2Compliance, with its consulting and training services and expertise, is a perfect fit for GBA Group,” the company’s CEO Steffen Walter says in the press release.

Key2Compliance was founded in 1994 in Stockholm where it is still headquartered today. The company also has operations in Lund, Gothenburg and Copenhagen. Last year, the company had a turnover of SEK 72 million. The company employs around 70 people.
