With the new memorandum of understanding, Roche becomes a member of the Swedish life science park Medicon Village in Lund. In addition, Roche and the company running the cluster, Medicon Village Innovation, have committed to working toward four shared goals:
- Promote a strong ecosystem for life science innovations in Sweden.
- Improve access to new medicines and diagnostic tools, and accelerate the implementation of medical innovations in clinical practice.
- Drive innovative collaborations and strengthen knowledge exchange and networking opportunities between academia, industry, and healthcare.
- Contribute to solving critical challenges in the Swedish healthcare system.
