Thermo Fisher’s clinical research business, PPD, is opening its first bioanalytical laboratory in Europe. The company chose Gothenburg for the new facility, which is now operational and expected to create 140 jobs.
Earlier this week, the global life science company Thermo Fisher Scientific inaugurated its new bioanalytical and biomarker laboratory at GoCo Health Innovation City in Gothenburg. The facility has been operational for about a month.
The 2,700-square-metre laboratory will support customers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries throughout all phases of drug development, from preclinical research to post-marketing studies.
