Grant for development projects in Gothenburg

Seven research projects receive SEK 1 million to promote commercialization of early drug development and medical technology.

Göteborgbio and Sahlgrenska Science Park is distributing the grant where SEK 100 000 is allocated for activities to increase the competence in regulatory issues. The seven projects, selected among more than 50 incoming applications, are sharing the grant between them.

One of the projects is Graftcraft , developing early treatment to prevent aneurysms. The fellowship enables continued development of their project portfolio for commercialization and future production. Some of the remaining projects are granted in areas of treatment for autoimmune diseases, hyperthermal microwave system and the treatment of kidney cancer. Others work within oncology, nanotechnology for bio separation and development of intervertebral disk prosthesis.
