LINK Medical recruits Swedish CEO

The Norwegian Contract Research Organization LINK Medical has recruited Anders Göransson as the new CEO.

Anders Göransson has previously held leading roles at McKinsey & Company, the pharmaceutical company Amgen and the Swedish medtech company Bactiguard. He served as CEO of the latter for a period.

– We are pleased to welcome Anders as the new CEO of LINK Medical. His diverse experience, combined with his deep industry knowledge and leadership capabilities, positions him well to lead LINK Medical into its next phase of growth and innovation. Under his leadership, we anticipate building on our strengths to drive growth and profitability across our core business areas, Chairman Michael Bodd states in a press release.

Michael Bodd also thanks the outgoing CEO Sissel Lønning Andresen.

– Sissel successfully guided the company through a critical phase and transformation, enhancing our value to customers and positioning LINK Medical for sustained success in the future, he says.

LINK Medical is a Norwegian CRO with approximately 200 employees. The company is headquartered in Oslo, but provides services throughout Northern Europe and has offices in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the UK and Germany. The company offers several services within product development for pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
