New ATMP center inaugurated: “In the future, we will see cell and gene therapies in all clinics”
Karolinska Institutet and Karolinska University Hospital’s new ATMP center was inaugurated in Flemingsberg, south of Stockholm. “The ATMP Center is not just a physical place, it is a promise,” said KI’s Vice-Chancellor Annika Östman Wernerson.
The new ATMP center has been established to accelerate research and the use of gene, cell and tissue therapies at Karolinska Institutet and Karolinska University Hospital. On Monday last the new center was inaugurated in Flemingsberg south of Stockholm.
Aida Hadzialic, Councillor for Finance in the Stockholm Region, Annika Östman Wernerson, Vice-Chancellor of Karolinska Institutet and Christophe Pedroletti, Hospital Director of Karolinska University Hospital, were present and participated in the opening ceremony.
