Lund honours milieu enthusiast

Four professors at the University of Lund has appointed the milieu chief of the university as honorary doctor.
Högni Hansson has been appointed as honorary doctor of the University of Lund. According to the professors, he is honoured for his scientific perspective in his work with environment issues.

Högni Hansson has worked as milieu chief in Landskrona municipality since 1978. The last years, he has also worked as guest teacher at the Department of Environment Science at the University of Lund, where he is program director of the education of health protection inspectors. He is one of the founders of the new and modern education of these inspectors at the university.

Simultaneous as Högni Hansson was appointed as honorary doctor, the micro biologist Linda Thöny-Meyer got the same appointment.
