Danish Councils for Independent Research, DFF, will grant DKK 1,3 billion during 2009. Now has the application period started.

DFF has recently The Danish Councils
opened the application period, where Danish researcher can apply for funding for a project, independent of the research field. The Council will grant in total DKK 1,3 billion during 2009 with the purpose to make it easier for Danish research and to increase the international competitiveness. for Independent Research are comprised of a Board of Directors and five scientific research councils. DFF’s subsidy constists of one grant ecah from the five councils. The councils are the Danish Medical Research Council, Danish Natural Science Research Council, Danish Research Council for the Humanities, Danish Research Council for Technology and Production Sciences and the Danish Social Science Research Council.
