At the end of 2019, Sweden presented its first national life science strategy, which contains 30 goals with eight priority areas (see Life Science Sweden no.1.2020). Denmark launched its life science strategy in 2018. The common overall goal in Sweden’s and Denmark’s strategies is that both countries want to become leaders in the life science sector. How was it possible to implement the strategies during a year when it was all about Coronavirus and Covid-19?
