Getinge and Neobiomics received Swecare's export awards

Two companies received awards during Swecare's annual conference.

On Wednesday afternoon, Swecare's annual conference was held at the Nordic Light Hotel in Stockholm. Minister of Social Affairs Jakob Forssmed (KD), was on hand to present two awards. The Swecare Export Award 2025 was awarded to one of Sweden's largest medical technology companies, Getinge.

"Through a purposeful and well-thought-out market strategy, the company has managed to strengthen its presence in emerging markets such as Asia and Latin America, while continuing to build on its already strong position in North America. With research, development and production anchored in Sweden, they continue to drive innovation in medical technology and demonstrate Swedish competitiveness in the life science area," the jury's statement read.

Swecare's Rising Star Award went to Neobiomics.

"By developing groundbreaking products and evidence-based solutions to meet the urgent needs of neonatal care, they have succeeded in creating products that make a tangible difference in the fight against life-threatening complications. The company shows strong potential and has already achieved impressive growth and success in over 20 international markets," the jury writes in its motivation.

The Swecare Export Awards have been presented since 2008. This year there were a record number of nominations.
