Apoteket gets new vice CEO

The Swedish government company Apoteket has recently appointed a vice CEO.
Apoteket, a company

that has a monopoly on the sale of drugs, has appointed Marianne Dicander Alexandersson as a new vice CEO. With that, she extends her duties that complement her current role as chief of a business that include 900 pharmacies and 8 500 employees.

Alexandersson is a civil engineer from Chalmers Technical University in Gothenburg and has studied ecomomics at Stockholm School of Economics. She has also had the position as CEO of the drug distributor Kronans Droghandel, a subsidiary company of the Finnish Oriola-KD Corporation. The Oriola-KD Corporation is divided into the business sectors, Pharmaceutical Trade and Healthcare Trade, and its aim is, by continuous development and investment, to be the leading company in the area of commerce and logistics for pharmaceutical and healthcare products in Finland and Sweden.
